Executive Communications

Our executive communicator writes remarks and talking points for speaking engagements, crafts email communications and develops other high-level outreach messaging on behalf of the provost. She works to maintain custody of the academic focus of the provost’s communications, to connect individual events and engagements to broader Office of the Provost and university-wide strategic goals and planning, and to effectively contextualize executive communications in relation to the university’s missions, values, aspirations and matters arising.

“One fundamental truth I realized long ago is that Michigan State University is a leading global public research university because of the depth and breadth of the lived experiences and perspectives represented across our community. That depth and breadth is our strength. It makes us who we are. And it is what will continue to provide stability and advance our aspirations into the future.”
