Office of the Provost Leadership Transition

Dear Faculty, Academic Staff, and Office of the Provost Community,
 
I am honored to serve as interim provost. During my time as senior associate provost, I worked closely with various groups, including associate provosts, units within the Office of the Provost, and the deans and their colleges, as well as many individuals across our university. Through these experiences, I became aware of the strength and excellence in our colleges and throughout the institution. 
 
During my service as interim provost, I will strive to build student, staff, and faculty success and collaborate with academic governance and leadership to continue our progress toward our DEI, RVSM, and 2030 strategic plan objectives.
 
In her email to the MSU community, Interim President Woodruff emphasized the importance of the 3Cs of culture, communication, and community here at MSU, which will guide our actions and aspirations.

I am humbled and grateful to be a part of our MSU community. I am also grateful for our great community and your investment in and commitment to our university.

I look forward to working with you to achieve our collective goals and aspirations.
