Idea Submission Form Reminder

February 2, 2022

Dear Colleagues in Support of MSU’s Academic Mission,

This is a friendly reminder to please fill out the Idea Submission Form as we continue to move forward with our academic strategic planning implementation efforts. This is a short form that will only take a few minutes to complete. We’re interested in what ideas you have (a sentence or two) for how we could implement the University Strategic Plan.

We are looking for ideas that are at least one of the following:

  • Campus-wide
  • High impact
  • Foundational
  • Inclusive of outreach, engagement, and extension efforts
  • In pursuit of bold new opportunities
  • A revamp of existing projects/processes
  • Inclusive of multiple units, colleges or departments

You can complete the Idea Submission Form as an individual or on behalf of a group. Multiple submissions are welcome with one idea per form. Please complete the Idea Submission Form by Monday, February 7 at 1 p.m.

What we’ll do with your feedback:
The aim of the Idea Submission Form is to identify interests in the Office of the Provost. We will take the findings from this form to organize similar ideas and connect individuals with one another to develop working groups at our next virtual summit, which will take place on February 22, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Registration details will be forthcoming. Please save this date on your calendars.

We are eager to learn about your ideas and encourage you to engage in this important process. Please note, you are not required to participate in these efforts or attend our summits. Our hope is that through this transparent process, we gain further momentum across the Office of the Provost in how we move MSU into the future.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to academicstrategicplan@msu.edu

Sincerely,
